Review on πŸ”ͺ Black/Red Minosharp 3 Knife Sharpener by Jennifer Stevenson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Best sharpness with shortest life for Asian blades

I've had two and am about to buy a third. I've also gifted a set of Asian knives to friends twice (global, shun, etc.). Makes sharpening to a thin edge very easy. While this doesn't give you the sharpness of a sushi chef's microblade like a real wet stone and 30-45 minutes of work, it allows me to dry shave my arm hair in 5 minutes, which is more than most people need. the time limit most people have! I use a wet stone on two of my favorite blades and this sharpener on everything else including steak knives. Only use on "Asian" angled blades unless you are familiar with changing the angle profile on all European/American blades (which I did without too much trouble).

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not as thick as other blades
