No instructions available. A little tricky to install on my Dremel 4000, here's what I did: On the 4000, unscrew and remove the cap over the collet and nut. Unscrew the square adapter cap and fitting where the original cap was removed. Remove the collet that came with the square adapter spring bar (mine was sent with a collet on the shaft not compatible with my 4000, don't know why, never used this new collet, in fact it was wrong in transit hereabouts.) . Insert the spring bar with the rounded side into the Dremel in the original collet. The spring bar also has a square side, there is a transition roughly in the middle of the spring. The square side plugs into the corner adapter. Here's the important part: the square side of the driveshaft needs to fit completely into the adapter to prevent slipping/stripping. I ended up adjusting and adjusting the length of the rod protruding from the collet many times until I had the maximum amount of square spring protruding but still able to screw the screw sleeve all the way onto the rectangular adapter. God I have no idea if that made sense but it took me a while to figure it out. The instructions wouldn't hurt. I used it several times after that and it worked fine.
