Review on AMP Research 74817 00A Extender BedXTender by Byron Howell

I like BedXtender now that it's installed. However, I doubt the instructions and the template that came with them for placing the brackets. My fiance and I installed it exactly as instructed and ended up with a bed extension that was too high. We relocated the brackets by trial fitting the entire unit and re-drilled the holes so the extension now sits flat on the tailgate. Of course I now have a hole in the top of my sheet that needs to be filled. In general the product is excellent. I just wish the instructions were more user friendly.
