If, like me, you've tried every headband known, get ready to keep looking. I don't consider myself a big head or anything but I have a smooth back of my head I guess? The straps keep slipping off my back, so unless I'm standing absolutely still, it's only a matter of time - usually nanoseconds - before they slip off. I had high hopes for it and it still hasn't come true. That might last a few seconds, but if, God forbid, I turned my head to the side or looked up with a gasp. then it's over. I have fine, straight hair with a lot of wispy strands that I like to keep in check. That wasn't the headband of my dreams. I'll say that about the headband - the piece falls to the side - the design is nice and it's not so tight that you feel like it's going to give you a headache. The thickness didn't really affect the look but then again it might just be the shape of my head and I didn't want it to be for fashion purposes anyway. Maybe this works for you, but if you're on a seemingly endless search because no other dressing fits? I would save your money and move on.
