I have used similar decorative solar lights in the past. Usually they last for 1 season. I don't remove them after installation as it's too difficult as I use them around my carp pond for decoration and also to keep out unwanted animals. Now this time after testing I used a hot glue gun and glued wherever water could get in. The headlights I threw away rotted in many places from H2O infiltration. I just try not to change them every season. I also tie the cable to sm. posts around the pond and then hot glue. I have a fishing line over the fireflies. This combination has served very well to keep away unwanted visitors wanting to snack on my babies! Also, on a set I just replaced with these (diff. Co. & your wr Bees) I noticed that the top of the solar panel/battery/control box was turning white from UV rays. I used a lens cleaner/restorer but it only worked for a few days. In addition to hot sealing, I spray the panels with Armorall U/V Protection if I think water will get in. I'll try once a week. All these kinds of products are cheaply made in China. So, I'm the guy who gets this, but I also want to protect my install efforts as much as possible by investing in prevention methods as outlined. Every season I try to learn from the past. These lights look very cool in a dark courtyard. They have an on/off switch and a separate switch for multiple flashing/alternating modes of the same. Also, the cable from the last light to the control box is quite long, even more than I need to hide behind the pond's waterfall. There are two groups of fireflies in my photo. Oh, after a sunny day, the always-on mode keeps the light on until the morning! Then the batteries are worthy! Will try to remember to update here in fall 2021. Health! UPDATE: 11/21/21 - Everything works fine, with a few minor issues. From what I understand, the top (front) solar power packs have a recurring problem: they become white, which limits the amount of sunlight to fully charge the batteries. So I had to clean the surface of the collector with sand pads 2 times a month to clean the lenses. I'll let them go all winter and post an update in the spring. Happy winter and don't forget NOT to feed the fish in winter!
