I have a narrow foot size 10 and they fit perfectly straight away. The insole is not cloth or other cloth-like material, so it won't soak up oil and dirt from bare feet. Rubber is easy to clean and won't get wet like a cloth. The flip-up pads are large and comfortable, they don't overlap so much that they stick out like wings when you put them on - they're just right. The insole isn't cushioned or soft, it's a firmer rubber but not too bad once you get used to it.
