This is a good car for a Christmas party at home once a year but for nothing else. I don't think it's worth the money I paid for it. Here's why: I bought it to drink chocolate. As with any hot food, you need to make sure the product stays at the right temperature for it to sit all day (which is why it's a heated dispenser). The problem is that even with full heating to the 'claimed' 194 degrees, the chocolate drink inside only heats to 150 degrees, even if it's on all day. This is considered a "danger zone" and means that the product has gone bad at this temperature within 2 hours. Even if I first put it on the stove at 185 degrees, it drops back to 150 after a few hours. The product is supposed to heat up to 185 degrees and then stay at a constant temperature of 165 degrees. Another problem is terrible condensation. In my opinion, it is not suitable for drinking chocolate, as a lot of water flows back into the product. If the funnel isn't very full, it won't give a very good presentation either. It's quite difficult to put it back together if you take the cleaning head apart as well. I like the concept, just wish they did better. Especially since the temperature of the product is not high enough and that is the main reason I bought it. I feel like I wouldn't feel so bad if I had paid more for it, around $150. But $300 is too expensive for what this thing really is and how mediocre its function is.
