Do not heat this carpet!
I love the style, weight and color of this rug; However, after three days, it still had creases where it had been folded for transport. I figured a little heat on the surface might make it flexible enough to lay flat. I held the hair dryer inches from the carpet and it melted the fibers. Luckily I knew what was going on right away and I don't think anyone else would notice.
