Have been driving for decades. I've been using gloves for over 30 years. This is my best buy. I have very large (not fat) hands and the XL size fits well. The padding is the best ever and the material on the palms provides a good grip on the handlebars. I was a bit concerned that the release tabs would get in the way or possibly catch on something (like my brake lugs?), look weird, or limit finger movement. None of the above. This is a very thoughtful and massive improvement. When I ordered the glove I figured if the loops were stupid I could carefully cut them off. I'm glad they are. Brilliant indeed. And the more bright spots on your gear, the more likely drivers are to notice you. That's why I'm happy about the light green stripe on every glove. Buy these and you will be happy.
