I use these screws to connect IKEA cabinets and bookshelves (like BILLY, PAX or SEKTION) together. The screws are just the right size to fit the pin holes in the shelf and just long enough to attach two 3/4 inch thick pieces. The screws are even painted white, once you screw them in they're practically gone.
