These pants are built to last. My 9 year old put them through the bell in the short time we've had them and they've held up well. The zippers on pants and shorts are strong, but it is easy to manipulate to put on and take off the length of the pants. My son loves these pants and wears them all the time. The only downside I have is that the sizing is a bit off. My son is skinny for his age and the pants are very tight in the waist and hips. The length of the hair is too long, so if we increase the size, it will be too long. Other than that, they are amazing!
