This is a really nice mala. The stone beads in the mala I received are not as bright as pictured, but they are real stones and they are very beautiful. The mala has a good weight and is well made. There are no loose threads and there is a knot between each bead. The string is very tight so it "twirls" a bit, but I think it will straighten out with use if the string is a little tight. The beads are 6mm in diameter and fit my 5.5 inch wrist perfectly when twisted into four strands. The guru bead and lotus charm are solid metal and well detailed - they have a kind of antique look that goes well with the stone beads.
