Replaces my batiste dry shampoo. I got this because I don't want all those flammable aerosol chemicals on my head anymore. People complain that it's a small bottle, but this 1-ounce bottle holds a lot more powder than other brands' 6.7-ounce aerosol cans. I have shoulder length black hair and I use dry shampoo 2-3 days straight a week. Baptiste lasts 3 weeks. I estimate that this will take two and a half months. Cambric lasts 12-14 hours a day and seems to wear off after 10-12 hours, but that could also be because I've softened it in my applications. The small bottle is also great to take with you for touch-ups. I don't pour it directly into my hair like the instructions say, instead I spread it between my palms and then rub it through my hair strands one at a time. I've had no issues leaving visible marks or turning my hair gray. UPDATE: After using this product for over a month with the above frequency and with even more generous amounts, I found it lasted just as long (14 hour work day with no issues). In addition, the powder is densely packed, so with each use it loosens up in the vial, which means that the powder level almost does not change. It is now at around 80% of its original level meaning this tiny bottle will last 4-5 months!
