Ordered two purple queen sizes. The color is different from the first photo, but the rest of the photos are a little better. It's more purple than lilac. The color is so rich and so beautiful. I have several polyester and satin pillowcases and they are actually softer. But make no mistake, they are very soft, just cheap and soft, if you use polyester real silk you get what you pay for. They lost some of their shine the first time they were washed, that's what happens with silk, polyester stays exactly the same. I've read that vinegar can bring the shine back. These pillow cases are not the best and not the most expensive. They're silk and they're beautiful, but if you're looking for super soft you'll have to pay a lot more or just go for "satin" polyester. I am happy with the purchase.
