Review on Fluval Chi Replacement Filter Kit - 3 Filter Cartridges and 1 Foam Biological Cartridge by Jessica Morris

This review is from the heart as I have used this product as advertised and it really doesn't do what it is supposed to do. This is a clear example of why manufacturers in China should be replaced by manufacturers in this country, where quality can always be EXPECTED AND GET, and where lack thereof can be complained about. Now specifically on the white pad, when you rinse and rinse and then put it where it's supposed to go and hook up the filter so the water goes through the pad and gets cleaned, well that doesn't go well with these pads Even a few days after installing a new seal, small threads or particles can still find their way into the tank. The water really isn't cleaner or better for my only fish with these filters. I can clearly see small pieces of pad floating, I can see strings of pad floating around the aquarium even a few days after I put in a new pad. If you need gaskets for your Hagen/Fluval filter, please do yourself and your fish a favor. FIND ANOTHER MANUFACTURER AND BETTER. This is not good.
