I've hardly used my Instant Pot, but during this quarantine I started using a lot more. I once fried a dish because I couldn't find my pressure plate. I closed the lid but I think it caused too much heat and it just turned off and never turned on again. Nada. I contacted Instant Pot and they offered me a discounted price for a new one, but I knew mine was still in great condition as it hadn't been used much. Went online to see if there is a solution and of course a backup. was recommended. We replaced the fuse from the power supply to the board (in the red line) and voila! we are back and working. We highly recommend that you try this inexpensive and simple solution before throwing away the potty. You'll need small screwdriver bits, but if you don't have one, I'm sure a neighbor or family member has them.
