We bought this product to keep an eye on our humidifier. We didn't know if it was too much or too little and sometimes woke up with a sore throat from the dry northeast winter. I mainly use it for a hygrometer (humidity) and did quite a bit of research to find a simple and reliable one. I don't have anything to compare the humidity to, but at around 45-50% humidity this product seems to let us sleep much better. The temperature reading also seems to match our thermostat. We have it on a side table at the opposite end of the room from the humidifier, so we didn't try to hang it on the wall. It has a small spot for a nail to hook into the back for hanging. I wish I had more time on the product but the picture above matches the product so that's my fault. I also wish it had the ability to light up an LED, but I knew that wasn't a feature. For those looking for an inexpensive hygrometer for indoor comfort (not sure about its accuracy for guitars, paintings etc) this is a great product.
