Review on 🔧 ACDelco 217-3071 GM Fuel Injection Pressure Regulator Kit: Original Equipment with Regulator & Clips by Kevin Barbon

This replaced the stock fuel pressure regulator on my 1997 Pontiac Bonneville 3.8L. So far this has stopped the fuel seepage I noticed on the old regulator. FYI, the regulator is held in place by a retaining ring with tiny holes. The pins on my old snap ring pliers were too large to fit the holes in the original snap ring or an identical replacement snap ring. Also, the snap ring pliers pins I bought from Auto Zone were too big. I wasn't sure if the included clip was meant to replace the locking ring, but when I snapped the clip onto the regulator body it wasn't able to seal enough. I ended up sharpening the pins on my old snap ring pliers to a finer diameter to fit the snap ring holes. With the locking ring I was then able to complete the assembly.
