Have been using this regulator for a month now and so far so good. No problems, no leaks, nothing suspicious other than what's in the aquarium! Will fit any standard C02 cylinder (I have a 5lb in the photo). The built in bubble counter is great (it only needs some water to work) and two pressure gauges show both the current pressure and the gas remaining in the tank. The bubble counter has a fine adjustment knob so you can actually set it to the perfect amount for your tank. I would recommend this unit as a first regulator to anyone looking to get into C02. It is relatively inexpensive compared to many expensive models. You need a C02 pipe, a diffuser and a C02 canister. I bought the 3 parts I needed here at Revain and got the tank from my local beer store. The total cost was less than $200. I watched a few youtube videos to familiarize myself with the different parts and what would be a good way to learn about this aspect of planted aquariums. The good news is, if a noob like me can do it, so can you!
