What a brilliant setup. I wish I had had something like this 50 years ago. What a time and effort saver. Today I put this device to good use. Have used it to check and fill a total of 12 car tires and 3 spares, 4 boat trailer tires and 1 spare, 4 truck trailer tires and 1 spare, 6 motorcycle tires, 2 jet ski trailer tires and 1 spare. A total of 34 FULL SIZE CAR TIRES TESTED AND INFLATED IN LESS THAN 20 MINUTES. FROM START TO FINISH. It took my wife a long time to remove and reinstall the valve stem caps! LOL Attach the quick connect end of the compressor hose to the end of the gun. Make sure it's installed correctly. Turn on the compressor and let it run until it reaches the desired pressure and stops. Then slide the 12" tube with the clamp end onto the stem and rotate the lever down to clamp. The illuminated digital display shows the current tire pressure. Pull the trigger on the air gun to inflate it. When finished, lift and remove the stem clamp and move on to the next hoop. reads EXACTLY the print you want, ie. 36.0 36.4, 42.7 PSI etc. (Bar, KG/CM or KPA scales can also be set. You don't have to fiddle around to find this tire gauge (you thought it was in the glove box but it's not there). then accidentally let out more air, try to get a good reading by lowering it, then mess with the round end to pump up air, try putting it on a wobbly or long tire bar, let out more air, then back to the gauge, squinted to try and read those lines, then back to the air hose, then the tire pressure gauge, then repeat, repeat, repeat on EACH TIRE.. swearing all the time.. the beauty of this system is that you use it ONCE press. Then read, press to inflate (or press button to deflate), observe the reading, remove the clamp and move on to the next tire.IT'S REALLY EASY AND FAST.The tire stem clamp will permanently crimped through a 12" air hose that really grabs and holds the shaft threads with MINIMUM air escaping. Please note that this gun is not intended for use with traditional portable compressors (devices designed to operate with an open-ended air chuck). The tire inflation gun is equipped with a closed-ended cartridge (holds pressure). I originally bought this for my 92 year old father who has macular degeneration and is almost blind. I figured backlit digital reading would be easier than a regular dial with numbers and needles. I tried it first to make sure everything was working properly. I have to say that the easy to read backlit digital display, accuracy and ease of use of the gun are PERFECT for this. With all the gadgets and toys we have, I liked this gadget so much I just ordered one. Dial and Needle Gauge Pistol Kit and other style kits available.
