very practical: paring knife

I love this knife! It's very sharp, feels good in your hand and the size is very convenient for cutting small objects like mushrooms, peeling apples, etc. It also doubles as a chef's knife for my 3-year-old daughter who loves to cook. with Mom and Dad in the kitchen (under close supervision mind you!) I also like my 4" version: JA Henckels Twin Four Star 4" High Carbon Stainless Steel Paring Knife. I really like having both, but if I had to choose between two, I would go with the 4 inch knife. 4 is a little less handy for peeling and the like, but it still does a good job, and the extra inch is pretty handy for slicing apples and more.
