Worked fantastic. Unfortunately, one of the main downsides I've found is that it's not great for some DIY jobs. The main reason is that the + and - contacts are very close together. I accidentally fried mine :S . The description even mentions adding your own reverse polarity protection diode, which of course I didn't realize beforehand. I also wish there was a dedicated + and - output pad instead of the USB port. Because of this, I decided to try these Pololu converters I came across. They even come with extra terminal blocks for people like me who are constantly unplugging/plugging.
