Review on Havels Serrated Finger Scissors 6 Inch by Morgan Gilmore

I've been using the same Havel shears for decades, I'm so old lol! For some reason this year I decided to try a few different brands and while they were all decent I bought a whole new set of Havel shears because they are so good in comparison. I sew and quilt, embroider and applique. I love these large loop scissors for appliqué, line stitching and curves when sewing. I use scissors with a regular 5 1/2 inch buttonhole on my sewing machine and a curved embroidery tip. 8 1/2 inch diameter dress scissors and tailor's scissors with black handles easily cut a variety of fabrics. The scissors are very sharp and all equipped with reliable caps. Now I have a bit of arthritis in my hands but cutting with these scissors is not difficult. They're a good weight but not too heavy, and the blades grip fabric well for smooth cuts. I will no longer give up this brand. Scissors last a lifetime. My old pairs are very functional and now belong to the grandkids for their sewing and craft projects lol.
