When run as WAN in PFSense, it works more reliably than my client bridge AP and also much faster despite the AP having the same 600Mbps rating and has the best antennas . It's not as reliable as a wired connection, although it's not an option for my ISP adapter, which sometimes needs to be reset in pfsense after restarting or restarting the cellular modem. However, when it acts as an access point, it works fine. The connection error could/probably be due to PFSense, but I haven't seen this on an Intel Centrino adapter on a 5 year old laptop, although my speed is much faster.
