They are much better than I expected, especially at the price of $10. I've bought a few other gold sets that are between $20 and $30 and they are much better. They appear heavy and expensive, and the gilding is even and flawless. How they hold up against stains a year from now remains to be seen, but they're pretty and durable enough that I could use them at my Christmas dinner this year, and cheap enough that if they go bad over time, $10 won't cut it that way much and more. to lose.
