Review on D Link DWL 122 802 11B Mbps Adapter by James Julien

I was trying to use this USB adapter with an Apple iBook laptop and a D-Link router (DL-514). Unfortunately my computer hung after a minute or two. It was also a bit awkward because when plugged into one of my USB ports, it blocked access to my available USB port. I installed it on my TiVo and it worked great, allowing my TiVo to use my wireless network to access TiVo Central for daily data updates. It appears to work well with a TiVo Series 2 DVR, but anyone considering this adapter for use with an iBook might want to consider the Apple Airport Card and Apple Express Base Station.
