Review on Coralife BioCube Aquarium Replacement Cartridges by Kelly Thomas

Received these 12 packs a few months ago, they came 2 packed in a large mailer, I have been using them for several months now and I have just opened the sealed 2 pack to smell the suddenly overwhelming smell of petrol on my kitchen. Upon closer inspection, the 2 filters in this pack give off gas. Luckily I didn't put it in the aquarium because I'm pretty sure everything would have died. I went and sniffed the whole package, everything was in it and there was no smell of petrol, I took 2 more packs and opened it, but there was no smell at all. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH IT and be sure to smell the individual packaging as you open it. I will also report this directly to Coralife.
