I've been paying overpriced local retailers to fix the brakes on my cars for 15-20 years and their prices have gone up and the quality of the brake work has gone down. I have to go back and ask them to fix pad friction or misalignment issues that are causing noise and annoying squeaks. Well after getting a ridiculous price on my last brake job when they tried to sell me NEW rims when my previous set was only used for one brake job I decided to replace my own brakes. I completed and tested the rear axle of both bikes in less than 50 minutes. Everything went well. I paired a Bosch Quietcast Rotor with their Boasch Quiest Cast Premium ceramic brake pads (also on Amazon). Surprising after two separate test drives with a 15-minute break in between. Please, this is easy when you change the oil yourself and know how to handle wrenches and oil things.
