I have been using this product for many years and in the last year or two I have noticed that the workmanship has deteriorated. The brush block was brand new when I bought it, but I kept having to reassemble it. This solution was temporary, but worked GREAT for a few months. Shortly thereafter, the piece of plastic covering the connector began to snap out of the slot, exposing the bare wires. It's a fire hazard and a piece of junk.
