Review on πŸ–ŠοΈ Prismacolor .005 XtraFine Black Fine Line Marker: Water Resistant, Premium Quality, 1-Each by Karla Richter

Good fine line but ends quickly, fragile tip

Very nice at first. For the price I didn't think it was durable enough. I used it for comics for 11 weeks and made about six pages a week. Towards the end of the 10th week (just in time for my project) it started to slip intermittently and the tip seemed less sharp, started to get wet. In general you can do the same with any black fine point pen. Given the cost of Prismacolor, I wouldn't take it again unless it was a one-off project that required exceptionally sharp, thin lines. Just as I've found that regular mechanical pencils work just as well as expensive art pencils in the same graphic medium. , I'll try standard felt tip pens until I find one I like. There just isn't money in the budget to pay for this high-end brand that seems to be working mostly for its reputation.

Pros
  • Premium pigment ink Lightfast Permanent Waterproof
Cons
  • Was damaged

I like this marker pen for it's super fine tip, but the tip does wear down pretty fast.
