The first thing that struck me about these drying towels is that they have little white flakes that fly all over the place when one towel is separated from the other. I was willing to mess with it just to have a "chemical-free" experience. But when I used them in the dryer, the flakes turned into a sticky substance that completely clogged my lint filter and stuck to the dryer door and steel drum. These are the worst dryer sheets I have ever used in my life. I am going to try balls of yarn to see if I can get rid of dryer sheets completely as not only did they ruin my dryer but my clothes WERE STILL STATIC after using them! About the scent: I really wanted something strong and they came in handy for me! In fact, the smell was so strong I had to close the laundry room door to keep it out. I love the scent but my family doesn't! Oddly enough, after using this super-powerful scent on clothes, it didn't even remotely cling to clothing. So if that's what you're looking for, you'll be disappointed. Worst dryer sheets, seriously.
