I bought this Vaughan SEPTLS770E18F Electrician's Hammer about six months ago to replace my old small electrician's hammer which I have used for many years. I really like this Vaughan and have been using it every day since I've had it. One thing I particularly like is that the overall length is about an inch shorter than the Klein Hammer so it fits better in my 5 gallon tool bucket and actually fits between the 16" on the center beam and the cleats. t. I find this gives me a little more flexibility when working between underfloor joists and other similar tight spaces where the grip needs to be horizontal for some reason. Like the Klein, it still has a very long nose, allowing it to penetrate cable tie recesses such as sleepers that are not flush with the top edge of the concrete foundation walls. A straight claw tapers well, making it easier to slide from behind or wedge in crevices than a curved lever hammer. Well balanced, with a non-conductive fiberglass handle and a comfortable rubber grip, this 20 ounce hammer is my favorite hammer now. By the way, the red-white-blue flag on the handle is just a shrink wrap that will get damaged over time, so you can remove it if you need to.
