Fairy is crude but works great when used within its limitations.

The output is a little noisy, it should be greater than or equal to the input voltage. With a load of 2A, it drops by 0.15 V. I had to turn the potentiometer counter-clockwise until it clicks in order for the output voltage to equal the input voltage. Otherwise he had at least Win+4. I use them to light wearable Halloween costumes. Input - battery 9-12.6V, output set to 12.5V. It gets a little warm at 1A, but nothing to worry about. It gets very hot at 1.5A and that's about the maximum continuous current I'm comfortable with, although 2A is fine at times.
