This product was purchased to help build Baby Scout projects (Space Derby, Pinewood Derby). I needed something safe for my kids to work on their projects with. This idea is great because it's safer than the powered options, easy to use, economical (due to the ability to use strips of cut sandpaper), and flexible (again, multiple grit levels can be used at different stages). Unfortunately, in real life, this species fails. The sandpaper does not hold well when force is applied.
