This is a very good light, especially considering the price. It's easy to assemble. The cable that comes with it is very long, which can be a good or bad thing. If you have high ceilings this is definitely a plus. If you have more standard ceilings, you will likely need to cut the cable to length, leaving some leftover, then strip the cable jacket and strip the wires inside. It can be problematic for those unfamiliar with this procedure. You definitely don't want to try to stuff all the excess cable into the light box as it is not safe. Another nice touch is that they provide a white glove to install the bulb, you don't have to touch this kind of bulbs. I think your bare hands, or maybe it just helps protect them from smudges and fingerprints. The instructions definitely leave a lot to be desired, the installation was quite tricky and there was a lot of cursing trying to install it. Light to my recessed box. You will probably need a little patience for this part. Overall it's not a bad product, just poor instructions and complicated installation. If you are reasonably skilled, this is not a problem.
