It depends. Some work, some don't. Probably best avoided.

I bought four. Two work, two don't. The first two I ordered worked great. You can easily receive TV channels from 12 to 30 miles away. Both just hang on the back of the TV for now, but they pick up TV channels from 12 to 30 miles away with ease. I haven't even tried tuning them for better reception; Both work great right out of the box. They might even work from the inside of the box. So I bought two more antennas for a neighbor's house. The other two antennas are a complete failure. You can't record anything. Not a single station. none. You can't even pick up a strong digital transmitter that's 28 miles away with line of sight. The received signal in my house should be -47dBm with a signal-to-noise ratio of 43dB, which is well within the capabilities of this antenna. The antenna does not receive anything. I tested two modern TVs to verify these results. Conclusion: This is gambling. you can win you could lose Tip: Visit tvfool.com before shopping; This will give you useful antenna hints for your location.
