Works well, I've seen cheaper ones

- I've tried several different brands of these FM transmitters. The performance is basically the same, the big difference is in the aesthetics/layout and features. If you're looking to save a few bucks, I've seen good models for as little as $15. This one costs about $22 and I'm not going to commit too much to the price. It has several nice amenities. You can charge your phone at the same time without interrupting the transmission, which is nice. And the ability to use an SD card in the device itself is pretty amazing, but there's a lot of fiddling involved when you're driving. Hopefully if you use this feature you've set up a playlist that you don't have to navigate through or have someone in the passenger seat to play the SD card. - I've seen some reviewers say it's DOA. . Mine works fine (for now), but I want to remind you that this is a generic brand from China, always risky. If you want something lasting, opt for a brand name instead. For those complaining about noise, I've always just tuned to a different FM station whenever I get noise. This has never been a problem for me, except that when you travel you may have to switch stations when going through different cities. My only other advice is to look at the shape before ordering and make sure it will fit your cigarette lighter. (especially if you have a shifter). If not, you can buy 12V expansion ports, but there are other Bluetooth transmitters with an adjustable gooseneck design that work better in tight spaces.
