This cap is excellent quality at an affordable price. There are two switches (one on the battery and one click on the bill) which I wouldn't have known about unless I read other people's reviews. The light is bright, but the problem lies in the direction the light falls. I have to walk in the dark early in the morning. While the light creates a clear bubble in front of you, when you look down it also shines into your eyes, severely affecting your peripheral lateral line and leaving you with bright, dancing white spots in your vision. I had to turn it off to really see clearly. Ultimately I think it comes down to what you need it for. If this is for walking in the dark I would choose a different cap.
