My cat who is 20 years old likes to stretch out her right paw to us because she is right handed not left handed and neither do I like a bare paw on mine face or in my mouth. These socks work like a charm. We picked her up and put a sock on her right front paw and we are very happy and she tolerates it very well. I can slip a sock over her paw without help, but my husband prefers help. With an extra set of hands, it's easier to use on a cat. This actually solved the problem for me.
