When it arrived, I didn't try it for 2 months because it looked delicate and it wasn't suitable for cutting my thick and hard toenails. I have bought 5 different products that claim to be the best. The Japanese made cuts like wire cutters, but that doesn't work when my toenails are very curved as they don't open wide enough. The scissor type would be better for curved areas as they open wider but don't cut well and when others couldn't cut through this morning (one of them just left a crease in my toenail despite pressing with both hands) I did finally did it tried these. I couldn't believe how much better they cut my thumbnail with one hand using moderate pressure. I still had to use wire cutters along with them to get into some places, but wire cutters couldn't do what they could and other types of scissors just couldn't cut.
