Bought this for my home office as my dogs love being there with me and it keeps them from lying on the floor right behind my chair. I added some dog ladders for safety and they loved it straight away! It also gives them a view out the window, which is a nice bonus, and the extra storage space helps keep my office tidy. I know it's for kids and I'm sure it will be just as great for them. The only caveat is that it took my incredibly smart and skilled husband a little time to put it together because the instructions weren't great and we had to send the first one back because of broken parts. But it was worth it - both the dogs and I are thrilled!
