Review on Laken Classic Wide Mouth Water Bottle by Eric Pavelko

Great company, but 'Aluminium' is no good.

Great company, but "aluminium" doesn't suit me. There are studies linking aluminum to Alzheimer's (there are some glaring inconsistencies here, but it's not worth the risk). In addition, there are other problems with aluminum. Some aluminum bottles need to be coated with an enamel or epoxy layer, which can cause wear. Some researchers point out that BPA is one of the main components of the epoxy coating. They are durable, but dropping them can wrinkle them, which can reduce the effectiveness of the inner lining. There seems to be "something" in "that bottle". I do not know what it is. Aluminum is a reactive metal. So if your water sits in a bottle for too long, it can leach out other chemicals (even if it's not BPA). In my opinion, that's not very good. So the answer is food grade stainless steel water bottles. After a while, the extra weight is hardly noticeable and years of research confirm their safety. Sheet has stainless steel water bottles (FYI). I wish I had known all of this before I bought it. I don't know what to do with it now (I don't want to waste it).

Cons
