Firstly the latch is plastic and very difficult to move either by latching or sliding out of its latched position. We need to be able to remove our baby gates and move them around and that is NOT easy. Also, they bend and warp when you insert them into a door, which is why they end up all crooked and wobbly. The two pieces that slide over each other push apart and the small tabs at the top and bottom do NOT hold them in place so adjusting and attaching the tabs means pinching your fingers. Finally, the rubber stoppers leave stains on the sides in the form of black circles. in my door frame. no idea what i will use to take them off when we stop using baby gates. All in all we still use it because that's what we have but it's frustrating so save yourself the hassle and buy another baby gate.
