Review on YESWELDER Darkening Welding Goggles Grinding by Ronny Prather

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Fits and works on headgear

Haven't had one in a very long time. The auto-darkening and overall function of these goggles seem pretty good, but the bridge of the nose is poorly designed, fits very poorly, and cuts into the nose. It hurt to leave it on for the first 5 seconds so I can't imagine using it for minutes or hours. I tried taping my glasses and the bridge of my nose, but I still had significant discomfort. I would have sent them back but had already thrown away the packaging so had no choice but to make them wearable. I ended up pulling the nose seal out, twisting about 3/8 inch sharp plastic out of the nose area and pushing the seal back into what was left of the groove. They're still a little uncomfortable, but I can at least wear them long enough now to use them for short periods. The bridge of my nose doesn't protrude much, so I can only imagine how uncomfortable they would be for someone with a protruding one or a larger nose bridge design. will buy them again and won't recommend them to anyone until the company finalizes the design and fit. In my opinion they are unusable as supplied by the manufacturer.
