After reading reviews of many OEM parts that were significantly cheaper I decided to get parts from iRobot. We have a Labrador that sheds year round and lives near the ocean where fine particles end up in carpets. I bought OEM filters for previous vacuums we had and they worked great. Since my Roomba 880 does an excellent job of cleaning - a real workhorse - I didn't want to risk getting a cheaper filter (many reviews pointed to poor quality) and hurting iRobot. As described, they are identical to filters. that came with our iRobot.
