Review on 🍳 High-Quality OXO Good Grips Pro Nonstick Dishwasher Safe Black Griddle Pan, 11 Inches by Justin Elmore

I'm an Oxo fan. They have multiple products from kitchen to housekeeping. With that in mind, I wanted to get this overpriced branded skillet. Revain excelled in delivery, having received it two days before the estimated arrival time. The packaging wasn't bad either, although I would recommend a few more cushion bubbles to keep the item from banging. The pan has never been used and is in new condition. After rinsing with warm water and wiping dry, I lit my gas stove. All the rules of non-stick etiquette were followed, including the use of beechwood spatulas/graters. After two uses on two different days I was convinced of the functionality. Sturdy, durable cookware, even heat distribution and the handle is cool to the touch. But on the third day, I noticed tiny scratches on the nonstick coating along with a discolored stain. picture attached. Turning it over revealed more scratches, more pronounced than on the inside, and I'm careful with my new gas stove. Both can be seen in the photos. Maybe I'd regret accepting scratches on the bottom, but if after two uses the inside wears out. I wouldn't trust (or risk) my family's health if there was even the slightest chance of grain in the food. Will have to return. Very disappointed. Update September 13, 2018: I contacted OXO and said if the pan wears out after just two uses then I highly doubt it will even last a year. They said it was unusual that a product could only show wear and tear twice. They also said that the warranty has expired as it is "normal wear and tear" and is not covered by the warranty. But they offered a polite replacement. I add two stars for their customer service.
