Review on Pentel Arts Sign Pen Touch by Shantel Griffin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for beginners in modern calligraphy/brush lettering!

I'm new to modern calligraphy and have done a lot of research on brush pens that look like great pens, but it's especially easy for beginners to get started and here are some of the ones I keep coming back to recommended seen. These Pentel Sign Pen Brush (Flexible Point) are AWESOME pens! Give nice thin strokes up and noticeably thicker strokes down, the colors are nice and strong and the ink flows well. Another pen I've recommended many times is Tombow Fudenosuke Colors, which just came out. I bought them at the same time as these Pentels and did a little comparison today so I'm attaching it in case you're checking out these two guys too. If you're at all familiar with Tombow Fudenosuke, they usually come in a pack of 2 black pens, 1 hard nib and 1 soft nib - these pens are similar to the Fudenosuke soft nibs. So softer but still "smaller" brush handle that's a bit more controllable for beginners. I hope that my review will be useful to someone!
