I bought this file because I play classical guitar and was looking for a decent long lasting file. they were ever in the past. I used to just use tiny disposable sandpaper files, and my nails made a lot more sound over the strings with them. I'm impressed with the difference. use carefully. Definitely worth its price. UPDATE: So I lost my OPI Crystal nail file and tried it from a different brand here at Revain. It was also glass and a little cheaper than this by a dollar or two. I've found that the cheaper option doesn't leave my nails as smooth as the OPI file. I kept having little bumps on my nails that I noticed while playing the guitar and that I couldn't get rid of no matter how hard I filed. I finally bought another OPI file to replace the one I lost and it works just as well as the first one I bought. Now I'm sticking with OPI
