I bought this for my grandson
My grandson has a bigger belly area. He usually wears a size 16 for boys so I bought him a size 18. He's short too. So he informs me that this coat fits his belly but is a bit long. I think it's more the proportions. He says the coat is soft and warm and he loves the camouflage look at age 8. I would recommend this coat :)
