I bake sandwich breads without kneading, but since they're tender, it was quite difficult to slice them. Now I can do it and my family is very happy with the result. It works and the price is very good so highly recommended :) Edit 4/14/15 The knife is still strong and sharp. Although I bought two more bread knives from restaurant stores because I wanted a knife longer than 6 inches, nothing works like this bread knife. They make a mess with lots of crumbs. I plan to get a 10" bread knife from the same company for slicing larger loaves.
